For over 20 years Cliff Sorensen has provided precise, structurally solid masonry and concrete services and design on the Island of Kauai. Born into a family of masons, Cliff’s career started out in Southern California in 1974, working with large companies doing commercial and specialty concrete and masonry projects and also as a journeyman bricklayer on military bases. In 1993 Cliff and his family moved to Kauai and started Sorensen Masonry & Concrete a few years later. Cliff has established himself and his company as a resource for many of the Island’s contractors and builders, as an expert in the field of concrete and masonry and design. Having learned his trade in areas with much stricter building codes than Hawaii, he is known for tackling the most difficult hillside foundations with precision and structural integrity that is appreciated by contractors and homeowners alike. Sorensen Concrete & Masonry specializes in foundations, masonry homes, concrete block walls, driveways and walkways and aesthetic masonry.
